And for ROM which stands for Read Only Memory which has meaning is the term for data storage media on a computer or Android device. This ROM is one of the existing memories in the device.
This ROM is permanent, meaning that the programs/data stored in this ROM are not easily lost or changed even if the power is turned off.
Storing data on ROM cannot be done easily, but reading data from ROM can be done easily. Usually the program / data contained in this ROM is filled by the manufacturer who made it. ROM is usually used to store firmware (software that is closely related to hardware).

Android ROMs have become increasingly popular in recent years, offering Android users a way to customize their devices beyond what the manufacturer offers out of the box.
In this article, we’ll explore what Android ROMs are, how they work, and some of the benefits of using them.
What is an Android ROM?
An Android ROM is essentially a modified version of the Android operating system that runs on your device. It can be created by anyone with the technical knowledge and skill to develop it. ROMs can be either official or custom, with the latter being the most popular.
Custom ROMs are made by independent developers and are typically built to add functionality, features, and customization options to the Android system.
How do Android ROMs work?
Android ROMs are installed on devices using a process called flashing. This process involves replacing the existing Android operating system on your device with the custom ROM.
The flashing process can vary depending on the device and the custom ROM, but it typically involves unlocking the bootloader, installing a custom recovery, and then flashing the custom ROM.
What are the benefits of using an Android ROM?
- Customization: Android ROMs offer a high level of customization, allowing users to tailor their devices to their needs and preferences. Custom ROMs can provide unique features, such as custom themes, icons, and fonts.
- Performance: Many custom ROMs are optimized for performance, providing faster and smoother performance than the stock Android operating system.
- Security: Some custom ROMs offer enhanced security features, such as privacy controls, ad-blockers, and malware protection.
- Updates: Custom ROMs often receive updates more frequently than the stock Android operating system, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and security patches.
- Legacy Support: Custom ROMs can often extend the life of older devices, allowing users to continue using their devices even after the manufacturer stops providing updates.
They provide a high level of customization, improved performance, enhanced security, and more frequent updates.
Then what is the BUILD ROM?
Now referring to the words BUILD and ROM above which have been explained, so I conclude that BUILD ROM is Building ROM to firmware (software) that will be embedded into hardware (Hardware) or Android devices so that a system can run on an Android device.
